African Liberation Day (ALD)

ALD is annually organised to mark the liberation movement’s progress and to symbolize the determination of the people of Africa to free themselves from foreign domination and exploitation.

Pan-African Women's Day (PAWD)

PAWD is held once a year on 9th August to celebrate the first Pan-African Women's Conference and the creation of the Pan-African Women's Organization (PAWO) in 1962 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
